Associate Professor Caroline Baker is Head of Breast Surgery at <a href="https://www.svha.org.au/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">St Vincent&#8217;s Public Hospital</a> Melbourne, after having serving for 6 years as Director of Breast Services at the Olivia Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre. She is also Chief Surgeon to <a href="https://www.breastscreen.org.au/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">St Vincent&#8217;s Breast Screen</a> . She gained her FRACS in 1994, then spent 5 years in The UK, subspecialising in the emerging field of breast surgery under the mentorship Mr. Mark Kissin and at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London.<br />
Caroline is a foundation member of BreastSurgANZ, a longterm member of the Australasian Society of Breast Diseases and has been a member of BCT/ANZBCTG since 1998. Caroline regularly teaches students, junior doctors and registrars through The University of Melbourne, lymphoedema practitioners, nurses and volunteers within the Breast Cancer Network of Australia. She has a special interest in neoadjuvant therapy, lymphedema prevention and multidisciplinary care.

<strong>Mr Michael Boland</strong> completed his undergraduate training in University College Dublin in 2010 and completed Higher Surgical Training in Ireland in 2021. He undertook a competitively appointed TIG National Breast Oncoplastic Fellowship in Imperial College London in 2022, where he was subsequently appointed as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon. He commenced his post as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in SVPH in Summer 2023.<br />
Areas of interest include oncoplastic treatment of breast cancer with a specific focus on breast conserving surgery with mammoplasty, partial/whole breast reconstruction as well as a special interest in the management of axillary disease.

<strong>Judy C. Boughey</strong>, M.D., is a breast surgeon and professor of surgery at Mayo Clinic. She is the program director of the breast surgical oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic and is the immediate past-president of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and sits on the ASBrS Board of Directors. She is chair of the American College of Surgeons Clinical Research Program and a member of the American Surgical Association. Dr. Boughey is recognized with the distinction of the W.H. Odell Professorship in Individualized Medicine.<br />
Dr. Boughey has led multiple national clinical trials; ACOSOG Z1071 evaluating sentinel node surgery in node-positive breast cancer treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy, ACOSOG Z11102 evaluating breast conservation in multiple ipsilateral breast tumors and ALLIANCE A11202 comparing axillary dissection to axillary radiation for node-positive disease after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. She is author of over 400 peer-reviewed papers.

<strong>Dr Alexis Butler</strong> has worked as a GP for many years in the UK and Melbourne and is also the GP Liaison Physician at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.  A core component of her work is improving patient outcomes and experience through optimising collaboration between primary care and hospitals.<br />
Alexis has also worked as a GP education consultant for The Royal Children’s hospital and The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear hospital creating practical face to face, on-line and virtual classrooms programs for primary care.  Currently she is also at Victorian Cytology Services involved in research and primary care education on the new national cervical screening program.

<strong>Ian Campbell</strong> is currently a Consultant Surgeon at Waikato Hospital and an Associate Professor with the Waikato Clinical School, University of Auckland Medical School. He has subspecialised in the management of breast cancer over the last 25 years and has Chaired a number of national committees on breast cancer management and standards of care in NZ, including the NZ Guidelines Group: Management of Early Breast Cancer published by the NZ Ministry of Health in 2009, and the National Breast Cancer Work Group responsible for developing Standards of Service Provision for Breast Cancer, published 2013.<br />
He is very actively involved in clinical research across the spectrum from prevention to better treatment and quality of life. A particular interest is in sentinel node biopsy and management of the axilla, and he is a member of the SNAC Trial Executive and Co-Chair of the SNAC2 Trial. Ian is a long standing member of the ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group Scientific Advisory Committee, previous Chair of the Local therapy subcommittee, and previous NZ member on the ANZBCTG Board.</div>

Dr. <strong>Julia Camps-Herrero</strong> is a breast radiologist and also the Corporate Chief of Breast Health in six Ribera Salud hospitals in Spain (University Hospitals of Torrejon, POVISA, Vinalopó, Denia, and Polusa). From 2006 to 2019 she was appointed Head of the Radiology Department at University Hospital de la Ribera in Alzira (Valencia). Since 1999 she is an active researcher in multimodality breast radiology, with a special interest in MRI. Dr Camps-Herrero is an active speaker in Latin America and Europe, where she has been invited to lecture in more than 370 presentations. She is the author of 23 papers, 7 book chapters and 75 scientific posters and oral presentations. She was appointed Breast Section Editor for EURORAD during 2007-2019, was chairman of the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2012 Breast Subcommittee and of the Spanish Senology Congress in 2015, member of the Programme Planning Committee for ECR 2015, 2016 and 2022. Currently, she is the Vice-president of SEDIM (Spanish Breast Imaging Society) and Past-President of the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI).</p></div>

<strong>Dr. Caudle</strong> is an associate professor of breast surgical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research has centered on the surgical management of nodal disease in breast cancer, specifically the development of targeted axillary dissection, a novel surgical technique that improves axillary node staging after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. She also has research interests focusing on improving quality in breast cancer surgery and methods for improving dissemination and implementation of clinical trial data.</div>

<strong>Professor Chan</strong> graduated from the University of Melbourne, and subsequently obtained her Fellowship in Medical Oncology and a Masters of Medicine in Palliative Care.<br />
She worked in the area of cancer genetics in City Hospital, Nottingham and breast cancer in Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto. She has worked solely in the area of breast cancer for nearly 20 years and has a strong commitment to breast cancer research, having personally recruited over 1100 patients to clinical trials and has served on the academic steering committee of three international studies. She has authored &gt;100 breast cancer publications in journals including New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet Oncology and Journal of Clinical Oncology; and has been a accessor for UK NHS, young investigator and NHMRC grants.<br />
She is an adjunct professor in the school of medicine at Curtin University and was a founding member of Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA. She established the Helen Sewell Breast Cancer Tumour Bank which has led to the collection of over 3000 annotated breast cancer samples for future research. She is currently the Director of the Breast Clinic Trials Unit of the Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA, based at Hollywood Private Hospital in Perth, Western Australia.<br />
She was awarded the Western Australia of Year Award in Professions 2016 for her contribution in the field of science at a state, national and international level and was a finalist for Australian of the Year in 2017.</div>
