Associate Professor Dong-Xu Liu is Director of the Centre for Biomedical and Chemical Sciences, the Auckland University of Technology and the founding President of the NZ Association of Breast Cancer Research (NZABC®). He obtained a BSc at the China Agricultural University, an MSc at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a PhD at the National University of Singapore. He held post-doctoral fellowship positions at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, Singapore and the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research focuses on biomarkers for breast cancer diagnosis and prognosis, and therapeutic molecules for targeted therapy development.
