Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its global implications, AIBC will take place in 2022.

The new dates for AIBC are October 13-15, 2022.
Your congress registration will be transferred to the new congress dates.

Please find below answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the postponement of the congress:

Q: Is AIBC 2021 cancelled?
A: No. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and its global implications, we have taken the decision to postpone AIBC to 2022.
The new congress dates are October 13 -15, 2022


Q: Where will AIBC 2022 take place?
A: Brisbane, Australia with a hybrid option for those not able to attend in person.


Q:Will my registration fee be reimbursed?
A: Given that the congress has been postponed rather than cancelled, your registration fee will simply be carried forward. Refunds are to be requested no later than Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Please send the request to info@impactevents.com.au


Q: Will my airfare and other travel expenses, such as visa application, be reimbursed?
A: We kindly ask you to seek compensation through your own travel insurance or agent used to book your travel/hotel.


Q: Is there anything specific I need to be doing with regard to my registration, in light of this postponement?
A: No, nothing. We have retained your registration in our system, and will send you regular updates on how the congress is progressing.

Q: What happens to my already submitted abstract
A: Please resubmit your abstract to the 2022 Congress. Details of abstract submission will be available online soon.
