
Dr. Satomi Koide is the senior staff specialising in breast and sarcoma reconstruction with a special interest in lymphedema management and surgery. She works at St Vincent Hospital Melbourne where she holds the role of lead breast reconstruction surgeon as well as Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Women’s Hospital. Satomi completed her Plastic and Reconstructive surgery training in Melbourne, Australia, followed by breast, lymphedema and microsurgery fellowship in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan and brachial plexus, lymphedema and microsurgical followship in Ogori Daiichi Hospital in Japan. Satomi performs wide range of breast and lymphedema reconstruction including both alloplastic and autologous reconstruction, lymphatic reconstruction and lymph node transfers.
